Principal's Message

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Plaucheville Elementary School, I would like to welcome you and your family to the 2015-2016 school year. It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Plaucheville Elementary School. I am extremely proud of our dedicated and experienced faculty and staff, outstanding students, supportive families, and the warm and inviting community. I am anticipating a successful and rewarding year and look forward to working with each of you.
Plaucheville Elementary has a commitment to ensure that we provide a safe, nurturing learning environment for all children by meeting them at their academic point of need. Everything we do at Plaucheville Elementary is based around ensuring that your child receives a quality education. Our goal is to become a school of academic excellence and to provide an exceptional education experience.
The school currently has an enrollment of approximately 660 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten thru sixth. Learning involves hard work by everyone, the teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, administration but most importantly the students. We value and challenge each student and provide opportunities for success. As a parent/guardian you may consider the following:
1. Ensure that your child(ren) is at school on time each day.
2. Attend Parent/Teacher conferences and school activities.
3. Monitor you child(ren)’s homework daily.
4. Explain and support positive behavior at school.
We look forward to working with you as we create a school where the faculty and staff are valued, parents are welcomed, and students are engaged and excited about learning. Please utilize this website as an informational tool. Thank you for your support and commitment and for sharing your children; they are truly a gift to us.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Tonenikea D. Wilson
